St. George's Stables, founded in 1959 by Joe Selinger, was the first English riding stable in Alberta. The Selinger family were true pioneers of the horse industry in Western Canada, importing the first warmbloods to Canada and planting the roots of the industry in Alberta. Head Coach Frank Selinger has over 50 years of experience as a Grand Prix rider and mentor, continuing to bring riders up to the Grand Prix level today.
